The Floor, Not the Ceiling

This site (veterans.thechrishilton.com) is run by Chris Hilton, Sr. I built it to help veterans, and I keep what I collect about you to the absolute minimum. Here is exactly what that means.
Only your email address, and only if you choose to give it. If you enter your email in the signup form to join the list, I collect that email. Nothing else is required. If you don't sign up, I don't collect anything that identifies you.
The VA combined ratings calculator runs entirely in your own web browser. The disability ratings you type in are never sent to me, never stored on any server, and never seen by anyone, including me. When you close the page, they are gone. The calculator works the same whether or not you ever give me your email.
I use your email for one thing: to send you The Floor, Not the Ceiling updates, the guide, and the next resources as I build them. I do not sell your email, rent it, or share it with advertisers, ever.
The list is run through Beehiiv, an email platform that stores the list and sends the emails on my behalf. Their handling of the data is covered by their own privacy policy.
The signup form uses a small script from Beehiiv that may note how you arrived at the page (for example, which link you clicked) so I can understand where subscribers come from. This is light, aggregate information. I do not run advertising trackers, and I do not build a profile of you.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email I send. If you want your email removed from my records entirely, or you have any privacy question, just reply to any email you get from the list and I will take care of it personally. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access or delete your data, and I will honor those.
This site is meant for adults, and it is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
